Thunder Rosa wants to be part of the AEW-CMLL rivalry against Stephanie Vaquer

The collaboration between the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) brought with it a rivalry where elements of both companies have been colliding, although women have not been included, something that Thunder Rosa wants to change.

“La Mera Mera”, she has been raising her hand for months to represent AEW in this battle, she is eager to receive the signal to get into the ring and face Stephanie Vaquer, thus fulfilling her dream of fighting in the prestigious Arena México.

«I’m waiting for them to tell me when. Since November, before the announcement of the collaboration between CMLL and AEW, I have been insisting to Stephanie Vaquer to make this confrontation happen. Whenever I see the opportunity, I let him know. “I was one of the first to join Forbidden Door, and I will continue there,” she commented.

Thunder Rosa highlighted the CMLL fighters in AEW. The fighter originally from Tijuana highlighted the benefits of the alliance between the two companies, pointing out that the diversity of styles provides invaluable learning for everyone involved.

«I already saw everyone fight, they (the fights) have been very good. I have had to narrate some. I think it’s very good because we all learn, they bring another school,
something different. Those who fight with them do very well, and those of us who observe are learning,” she commented.

Thunder Rosa hopes to have the opportunity to face Stephanie Vaquer and other CMLL Amazons; but she also remembered Dark Angel, who although she is not Mexican, she did leave a huge mark on the country and now as an AEW coach she has taught him a lot.

The person who motivated me the most is Sarah Stock, she is now my coach. It would be following in her footsteps, I love being with her, she gives me new ideas and advice on how I can be successful in Mexico. “We are waiting to be given the opportunity,” she explained.

She highlighted the presence of other Mexicans in AEW Thunder Rosa also highlighted the opening of opportunities for Mexican wrestlers on the international stage, thanking the CMLL-AEW alliance for providing them with better economic opportunities.

“Right now there is Bandido, Komander, Rush, there are quite a few. The truth is they are superstars, I see them and for example, Andrade taught me a lot about the leader he is and how someone who is a star should be represented and presented. There are not many women in the United States representing Mexico and I am one of the few. “I became international before returning to Mexico, which is very strange, but my story was different.”
